Fawzia Qazi
Our science instructor, Fawzia Qazi, is a CollegeBoard AP Exam Reader in AP Chemistry, which provides her with an in-depth understanding of the AP Exam so that she can better assess the work of her students. She attends the CollegeBoard Summer Institutes in AP Chemistry and AP Biology, which offer the most intensive professional development available for AP educators. Summer Institute attendees engage in 30 or more hours of content-rich training designed to strengthen how they teach their AP courses. Fawzia’s position as an AP Chemistry Exam grader keeps her up-to-date with what content and difficulties are involved in current and upcoming AP exams. As a result, she is able to make the necessary changes in her instruction and scoring methods due to her first-hand experience at CollegeBoard’s AP Reading.
